Started in 2008 and described in the UI Proposal by Martin Aspeli, Geir Baekholt, Laurence Rowe and Alexander Limi, is the new page layout and rendering paradigm for Plone. This talk will be about the progress we have made so far, showing a prototype of the layout and content editing in Plone 5.

Rob Gietema
Four Digits
Rob Gietema is one of the CEOs of Four Digits and a Zope developer for nine years. Rob is the maintainer of the TinyMCE Plone product and working on the new UI for Plone 5 called . He also implemented several PLIP's for Plone 4 and is a Framework Team member of the 4.x series. Rob has held presentations before at the European Plone Symposium 2009 and 2010, Plone Conference 2008 and 2009 and the Dutch Plone Userday 2008 which can all be found on Slideshare.
