What

Plone is one of the easiest CMSes to download and install on your local machine, but what about when you need to deploy it to a production server for public consumption? Unless you have a trained systems administrator on your team, you're going to need to learn about Apache vhosts, setting up caching proxies, load balancing, logfile rotation, backups and security issues.

This talk will cover all aspects of getting your Plone site production ready and feature many tips and tricks to make your job easier. We will discuss the various hosting strategies including the new breed of virtual cloud servers from Amazon, and tools to easily manage a cluster of machines and monitor them for high availability.
